DESCRIPTION:
Therma Shield is a 100% acrylic liquid applied insulating coating
containing a mixture of ceramic micro spheres and various raw
materials blended into a premium quality water based resin.
Therma Shield is designed to provide thermal insulation
for a variety of applications providing an effective and inexpensive
alternative to the high cost of conventional insulation systems.
Therma Shield has excellent reflective and emissive qualities
insulating surfaces from radiant heat gain. Much of the radiant
heat that comes in contact with Therma Shield is transferred back
into the atmosphere therefore only a small percentage is absorbed
making lifestyle and conditions much more comfortable.

USES: Therma Shield is very flexible and is primarily
applied as a roof coating to insulate and waterproof. This product
is just as serviceable on a motor home, caravan, as on a domestic,
rural, industrial, marine and commercial substrates. Therma Shield
can also be used for interior and external wall insulation.
APPLICATION: Brush, roller or airless spray equipment.
Safe to the environment and the applicator. DIY instructions supplied.
DRYING TIME: Re-coat when touch dry - approximately
3 hours under normal conditions - fully cured in approx 30 days.
COVERAGE: Depending on the application method, approx
5m2 per litre per coat.
GLOSS LEVEL: Low Sheen
DURABILITY: Tropical strength weather accelerometer
test gave 10 out of 10 for lasting and non-cracking after a 15
year equivalent.
EFFICIENCY: To obtain the same results as test (R
factor 2.4) a 300 micron film of Therma Shield is required, (approx
2 good coats).
CLEAN UP: Water wash up. SIZES: 4, 10, 20 litre
containers.
SAFETY: Very safe -collect drinking water. Very
low aroma - no special requirements when applying, Approved to
be sent by Australia Post and Road Freight.
